Meet the Team

Where do I start?You will need to register your child before their time at Kids Inn. The link to register is located here. You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on the next steps. Once the registration is complete, you will be able to drop off immediately. You are also welcome to register at Kids Inn for the first time.

After I register, how soon can I drop off?Immediately. Our registration system does send an automated reply email, but you can drop off directly upon completing the registration forms. *If your child is an infant/toddler (6 months -2 years of age), it is encouraged you call us before dropping off to confirm availability in the infant/toddler room. We are only able to accommodate 8 infants/toddlers at a time.

How do I obtain a membership?You must be present at Kids Inn to obtain a membership. We can place a membership on your account over the phone. However, you will be required to pay when you arrive at Kids Inn to finalize the membership. Unfortunately, you cannot pay membership fees online at this time.

What do I need to bring?If your child is in diapers, you will need to bring several diapers and wipes along with a change of clothes. If your child is potty training, bring a change of clothes. If bringing a lunch/dinner for your child, please make sure all the contents are NUT FREE along with a water cup. Please make sure all items are labeled with your child’s name. Snacks will be available for purchase.

How often can I drop off?Kids Inn is considered “hourly” childcare. You are allowed to drop off your child whenever you need.

Can I go in with my child?For the safety of all the children at Kids Inn, we do not allow parents past the gate. Our entire staff is fingerprinted and background checked, and we require that anyone who enters our play area be. You can see the entire open space from the front a camera view of the infant/toddler room and are more than welcome to stay to watch as your child acclimates. We understand dropping off can be challenging, at times, for children and parents, and we want to make it as easy as possible for everyone.

What if I’m running later than my anticipated check-out time?While you can place an estimated check-out time when you check in, you do not have to be back at that exact time. This is the beauty of “drop-in” care.

Do you round to the next hour?At Kids Inn, we charge by the hour. Your hour will begin when you arrive at our facility.

How will you accommodate your child/caregiver ratios?At Kids Inn, we staff 1:4 in the infant/toddler room and between 1:8 and 1:10 on the main floor for ages 2 -12 years. These ratios meet the Missouri Child Care Ratio guidelines. Kids Inn will ensure that correct child/caregiver ratios are in place at all times through teacher shifts and scheduling procedures.

What qualifications does your staff have?Our entire staff is FBI background checked. They are also first aid and CPR certified and trained to care for children. Our staff training will meet the Minimum Standards put in place by the DESE and is the same as that of every full-time daycare in Missouri.
